Publishing or MS Word Skills?

We're currently looking for volunteers who have MS Word or desktop publishing skills.

ART WORKS Compiler

ART WORKS is our online magazine for ringing teachers which is received by over 3,000 members of the ringing community. You would work with the Editor, collating articles into the magazine-style publication using the software package of your choice. It may be necessary to undertake minor sub-editing of content in order to align it to the format constraints of the publication. Typically the magazine takes between 6 and 8 hours to produce once a quarter. Magazine templates and style sheets are available, ready to use.

Merchandise Editor

This role requires you to make minor re-formatting changes to our publications prior to printing. Perfect if you have an occasional couple of hours to spare and have a good eye for detail and layout. Much of this work can be planned around your availability and you can decide when to allocate time to do this work.
