M1: 21 Jan 2017 - Kineton

I thoroughly enjoyed this day which was well-presented with a mix of practical activities and information. There was also time to share experiences, anecdotes and discuss what we had come to learn – teaching bell-handling.

Evidence-based research about learning practical skills gave everyone insight into how this is used when teaching a complex skill such as bell-handling. We all had opportunities to try out the practical skills required for teaching and for some of us to try and remember how it felt as as learner.

We were given a comprehensive pack of handouts and books but the message of the day was to go and practise, practise, practise.

This course offers information and skills for the novice teacher with fresh ideas and perspectives for the more experienced teacher.
