M2C: 4 Aug 2018 - Holmer

It was with a mixture of trepidation, curiosity and intrigue that I set off to attend an ART M2C Day Course at Holmer Church near Hereford. Having recently returned to ringing after a significant gap (about 25 years) the idea of an accredited, structured approach to both learning and teaching bell ringing was certainly a new one for me.

On reflection the day exceeded my expectations and it was a Saturday well-spent in the company of other like-minded ringing enthusiasts all wanting more tools in the box to motivate learners to improve – whatever age or ability they may be.

I am sure that with the advantage of four people from one tower now having attended this course we will be better able to move things forward – better equipped to support our Tower Captain, be able to develop the learners with a common approach and at the same time create opportunities to improve the abilities of our group as a whole.

It was a fun day and to be recommended!
