Teacher refresher courses

It's been a long time since any of us taught anyone to handle a bell or learn a method (at least on a tower bell) so why not take the time to refresh the knowledge and skills that you acquired on your ART Module 1 or Module 2 course?

Online courses

Refresher courses for both ART teaching modules are being developed on the online learning portal. The courses are a mix of video presentations, online quizzes and slide shows. Details of the curriculum will be available by the end of January and the courses are due to go live at the end of April 2021.

» Online refresher workshops

The refresher courses will include content that allows you to practise and learn more about what is covered in the course. For example you can refine your observation skills by watching videos of ringers with handling faults, diagnosing them and then discussing corrective exercises.

Physical workshops

The location and dates of half-day physical workshops will obviously depend on how the pandemic unwinds across the country, but we will try our best to meet everyone's needs. If you're interested in attending or organising one in your local area, contact the ART Administrator.
