Module 1 Online Refresher course

Covid-19 restrictions are easing, ringing is restarting and people's minds are turning to teaching new recruits. With this in mind, ART is launching its Module 1 Online Refresher course. This covers all aspects of teaching bell handling from the first lesson to ringing with others for the first time. The course is broken down into bite-sized chunks so you can choose whether to dip in and out in-between teaching lessons or do the whole course before you start. In all, it takes about one and a half hours to complete.

The course is for both new and experienced teachers – after all, no-one has taught bell handling in the UK for well over a year, and we are all a bit rusty. It is a mixture of text, short videos, downloads and interactive quizzes, with both ART Tutors and teachers sharing tips and ideas.

It is a refresher course, and is available to anyone who's already attended a Module 1 (bell handling) day course whether this was last year or five years ago. When enrolling we'll run a quick check, so you might have to wait a little while for the enrolment process to complete – you will be notified by email when it is.
